People tend to be housed together based on interests (unless you ask otherwise). You may see a group of musicians, gamers, etc. grouped together playing together much of the time. Also, we have rugby, baseball, volleyball, basketball, and chess teams that compete regularly. As for outside the school, Richardson (where the campus is housed) is fairly boring other than a few bars, good restaurants, and hookah joints. However, it is a short drive from downtown Dallas and surrounding areas. Depending on what you're into, there are clubs, interesting restaurants, flea markets, an aquarium, and others.

For fun there are a ton of events that occur on campus all the time. There are also plenty of things to do in the student union, like play pool or ping pong or an arcade game, not to mention the TV lounge room. There is also a gym if you like to workout for fun. Oh, and plenty of intramural sports teams to join!

Greek life and SUAAB make a lot of events, and since there's a different array of individuals attending the University, there's almost everything. Whether you want to study, there's study rooms and groups, or party on the weekends there's always a party held by a fraternity or by the campus. If you like video games, there's constantly tournaments going around campus, and if you just want to hang out with your friends, there's always room. It's a well rounded University.

There are a few swimming pools available. The student union has many pool tables, a TV lounge, and a few video games that you have to pay for. There are different activities hosted by different organizations on campus, such as the Homecoming Dance (even though we don't have a football team), multiple musician, comedian, and poet performances, and cultural events.

Great question. I myself am trying to figure this out. If you have a car then you can go around town, go to a club, head downtown, eat off campus, etc. If you don't have a car, there are some events to go on campus on Friday nights like movie night at the library which happens I believe every other Friday, and there's also Swing Dancing.

Make friends and you all can participate in several sporting events together. There are also a lot of shows and social events that are organized on a regular basis.
