Maintain the Best GPA you can. Try to make a 1200 combined SAT or 26 ACT score. The University looks for the well-rounded, so respond in your application accordingly. UTD is Great for Pre-Med and Pre-Law prospectives!

UT Dallas is a school marked by growth. When I was a freshman, it was a nasty pit of construction and dirt; now, after much work, it is becoming a beautiful, thriving campus. The school is very academically-focused (mostly math and science), and a ton of undergraduate scholarships are offered based on GPA, community service, and extracurricular work.

I absolutely love UTD. This is my first semester there and have learned more than my previous years in Community college. I would recommend UTD to anyone.

Awesome School! the advisers are extremely helpful, the campus is easy to find and to find needed information. The only down side is the food, not exactly up to par.

Commuter school mostly. Suburban setting. Nice improvements to campus. Currently working on becoming a tier one school.

The University of Texas at Dallas has a great friendly faculty that is willing to go out of their way to help you. The fact that it is a very diverse campus is great because you have a chance to meet all kinds of different people. If you are interested in clubs and organizations there are so many to join and it is not hard to find out about them and to get involved on campus.

It is honestly a bit clinical and business oriented, however this provides a less complicated and more efficient system for entry level students to fall into. The modern architecture and ample natural Texas landscaping adds a unique aesthetic to your collegiate experience. Not to mention there are mist coolers in the quad, a bar on campus, and a pretty much endless variety of on and off campus activities to participate in.

The University is great. The teachers are attentive and very knowledgeable. The campus is big but comforting at the same time.

It's smaller University that allows for great connections with your peers. It provides a lot of scholarship opportunities to allow everyone that chance for a great education.

The University of Texas at Dallas is growing very quickly, but it often feels as if it were a small school. Many of the students and staff members have a sort-of geeky vibe, along with a wide variety of culture that might not be found at a school of similar size and reputation. It prides itself on its academic standing, despite being a widely unknown state school.

Academic-wise, the school is pretty good. To be honest there is a lack of a social life if you stay on campus and don't have a car. Other than that, you just got to make the best of your situation and it'll be a fun yet educational experience.
