    Apparently UTDallas is one of the more expensive universities in the Texas system, and I do not understand why. Nothing was over the top or impressive in any real way.

    They hand out a lot of scholarship money it seems, and this helps offset tuition and housing costs. In terms of academics, the school is one of the top public universities in the state.

    The campus is in such a nice area, and surrounding it are tons of places to hang out, eat, and have fun. What's even better for people like me (who commute to the school) is that it's close to a lot of apartments and homes.
