    It is like going to a normal state school, but you pay less and aren't required to live on campus your first year whether you live in San Antonio or not. (Although this might be changing as UTSA is aiming to become a Tier 1 school). What you pay is what you get, and a little more. :)

    For living in San Antonio, the cost is affordable. I have not yet pulled out any loans, I have half in scholarships and grants and I pay the other half in affordable payment plans throughout the semester.
