Around Town

There are a lot of things do to for fun depending on what you are intrested in. There are always lots of camous activities goin on.

The campus activity board always has fun activities and the gym provides for more entertainment.

There are numerous activities that one can partake while at this school. Clubs, athletics, Greek life and various other options are presented to the student as soon as they arrive on campus. There is always something to do while on campus.

Sports and a nice student center with different games and flat screen TVs.

There are so many things you can do for fun at UT Tyler. They have a giant recreational center with a workout center, pool, racquetball courts, tennis courts and so much more. In fact, UT Tyler has it's own frisbee golf set up all over campus, so you never not have something to do!

Tyler is a great town, and I've grown up here, so I am not sure what non-locals do for fun. However, we have a lot of museums, a mall, and several theaters.

There's a lot of extracurricular activities there, or you can start your own.

At UT Tyler, there are plenty of things to do for fun if you're bored or if you just want to get out of your room. When I used to live in the dorms, I would go down to the Media Room to watch a movie, play ping pong with some friends, or even play board games. In the town, there are also some fun things to do like go bowling or even go to the mall, hang out at Chipotle, and sometimes I shop too much at places like Marshall's, Shoe Carnival, Walmart, Ross, etc. The list goes on from this point! Great town and school.

People think there isn't much to do in Tyler, but on campus there is always something going on. Some club is always hosting an event, there are sporting events, things with free food, and themed hangouts.

The town has places to go but the campus has groups you can join.
