Around Town

You can go to the Beach if you choose the VB location. Norfolk campus is right by the mall. And there is plenty to do in downtown Norfolk!

No matter which campus you attend there is always some event or school club that has something fun or entertaining to do like game tournaments, talent nights, volunteer opportunties, community college sports leagues, ect.

The student center offers video games, television, computer lab, and a great environment to just socialize with students. MacArthur mall is in walking distance, so shopping or seeing a movie in between classes is always fun.

One of my favorite things about this college was the amount of things to do. There is always something to do or something going on. There were free movies, concerts, guest speakers, discounted tickets to shows, school sponsored trips. etc.

This is an off campus living so actual on campus fun is not something that happens. That being said with the clubs and such that are in effect, there were always movie nights and random fun meetings. As for me, most of my friends from high school were also attending so we would get together and do our own thing.

Sometimes they offer free concerts and activities but honestly, this area is not fun.

There are many activities available on campus to do for fun. There are plenty of clubs and honor societies that are available for a plethora of hobbies and interests. For example, there is a wonderful computer club that builds computers for students in need.

Student lounge all the way! They set up great activities that everyone can enjoy!

There are activities and clubs to get involved in. Events are held every week. Joining clubs and going to the events held on campus are great ways to meeting new people.

For fun you can participate in after school activities and clubs. There is also a nice size library where you can get on computers and read books.
