I would suggest changing your meal plan immediately after registering. The cafeteria food is not always awful, but there are definitely certain things to avoid. The fifteen meal plan saves you money and is much more reasonable. A car isn't necessary for campus and everything is pretty much within walking distance, but if you want to take frequent wal-mart trips it's probably a good idea to bring your car along.

» Read More1. Live on campus if at all possible. 2. Don't be shy. People here are super friendly, and friends are essential to the college experience. 3. Go to the baseball and basketball games and the school plays. There are plenty of people to meet. 4. Chapel is great. Just don't get behind on chapel credits. 5. Get plugged in to a Barnabas group and a student ministry.
