Tougaloo College is a private, historically black institution established in Madison County, Mississippi. The college offers undergraduate degree programs in 29 fields of study, as well as graduate degree programs in both Education and Child Development. Tougaloo’s 15-acre main campus features three historic districts, including the Woodworth Chapel, which is now home to one of two UCC congregations in the state. Students at Tougaloo College can take part in a number of special programs throughout the year, including the Tougaloo Art Colony, the Undergraduate Research Symposium, and the Jackson Heart Study.
