Make sure that your major is at Tougaloo College. And college is not high school any more. You are responsible for your own actions. Do your work this is not a game you can play at any time.

-Come in with an open mind! Tougaloo doesn't have the newest or nicest things, but it has the most history, and is the best place for education! -Be prepared! I promise if you want to call, and talk to someone whether it be a professor or even the president, about your future at the college, and what you may need to know, someone will talk to you! -Learn the history of the school! Tougaloo was once the center of the civil rights movement in Mississippi, learn about it, this history will make you appreciate the school so much more. -Take a tour of the campus. Tougaloo offers camus tours, given by students. Whatever questions you need to ask they can help you most of the time, and if they can't they'll find someone who can. This is also a great way to make friends!
