Meet with your student advisor as soon as possible, but you'll need to meet with a success coach first the sooner the better. Don't expect to be able to just simply sign up for the classes you need, first you meet with your advisor (who may or may not know what they're talking about as far as what classes you should be taking), then they will approve or disapprove of your plans. After your schedule has been approved then you may sign up for classes, if there are any left. Each advisor has different criteria before meeting with them and each one has different times for you to meet with them (some will only have openings during one of your classes, which you'll have to miss if you want to get in classes for the following semester, so heads up on this).

Take advantage of all of the resources this school has to offer! Smaller class sizes mean more time with your professors, and their office hours are usually flexible enough that you can get help when you need it. There are plenty of extracurricular activities to go along with the academics!

Try to show up to class on time so you don't miss anything. Attendance is very important if you are gone for more then four class periods the professor can drop you from the class.
