There is a wide selection of classes to choose from and while it is sometimes difficult to get into a desired class there are many more options open. The smaller class sizes really allow you to interact better with your teacher and so get more out of a class.

This school is very academic based. There's not a lot of partying, and it's definitely a supportive environment. Definitely a place to get a good degree for a great price.

Truman State University is a small school that truly values the quality and not quantity of students. Student to professor ratio is 16:1 and professors hold students to a high standard when it comes to academics. There are many opportunities available a Truman that cannot be offered anywhere else.

Truman State University was my top choice in schools. It's the size that I want it to be, it's far enough from home but close enough at the same time and the academic calendar is right at the level I think it should be to challenge me and prepare me for the world outside of school. Truman is the a great school, community and home.

Truman is a small, simple, school. It is good for people that need/want extra help from professors but are not afraid to be the one to initiate the help.

Truman boasts competitive academics and lots of opportunities for student involvement. It does have a high turnover rate and the winters are long. Overall, I give it an 8/10.
