Use this time to experiment with classes, take something in the field you want to go into. Have a goal set in place of what you want to do after TCC. It will help you to finish strong.

Organization is very important. Courses are on a first come first serve basis so don't be afraid to jump in the water! Effort is also important when completing work and NEVER procrastinate! Happy School Year!

Be sure to always apply for things early no matter what it may be. If you need to talk to someone in the advisement office (which happens a lot) definitely make sure you give yourself enough time because the lines can get kind of long. Keep track of a schedule and try not to procrastinate.

Take careful notes and keep up with homework assignments online. Most importantly, READ. Read any notes that your professor gives you, read your textbooks, and read any assigned chapters.
