Around Town

You can join a sports team like the Black Knights football team and run, lift, and also make new friends. It's a great way to stay in shape and be social.

'Fun' is something you make yourself on campus. Our days usually run from 0600-midnight, so fun is usually hanging out with your sports team, or getting off campus on the weekends.

For fun, you can explore the area (there's a bowling alley, lots of club activities going on at any given time, take a walk by the river, or just hang out with some buddies in their room or at Grant Hall). Outside of cadet clubs and friends, there isn't much to do. You aren't allowed to leave post unless it';s the weekend and even then, the nearest town (technically, the Village of Highland Falls) is pretty dull. The only way to really have fun is to eventually get a car or pay for transportation to New York City every weekend.
