Categories Comments Campus Safety the campus is very safe and security guards are always doing their rounds just in case.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus it's situated in a border line that if you cross a certain place is in one town and you back you're in another town.
What to do for fun hang out with friends in the different spont across the college when there's nothing else to do. there's also the events that students can participate or attend to.
Food and Dining the food in the cafeteria was the best! a bit pricey but they serve a lot so cant complain. there's fast-foods across the street also.
Dorm Life i haven't lived in a dorm but i have visited a few of my friends and they're pretty nice, small since they were for one person but i could be comfortable there.
Academic Rigor one of the best in the country and there's even statistics to prove it so i can't complain at all.
Tips for prospective students study hard and don't cut class, there will always be time to hang out with friends but they will not give you grades. be sociable since there will be people that you'll see until the last semester.
In three sentences universidad del turabo is a great college where you can find peace of mind even after coming out of exams since it has a lot of green areas on campus. the education is great and the professors are easy to understand. easy to access and the people attending are always driving you forward each semester.

Categories Comments Campus Safety The campus of Turabo is very safe. There are many guards walking around securing the places. And there are multiple of cameras around the ceiling.
Clubs and Activities There are association that you could sign in. And there is a variety of activities around, in and out the university. As well as concerts takes place on the Turabo were a vary of artist sing.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus On October there were a festival of fruits. And there are a vary of concerts. And some visitors of others schools.
What to do for fun What I do for fun, I play on the park. I hang out with my friends. And I use my computer.
Food and Dining The food is awesome. There are a variety of food. And there are multiple machines to grab a snack.
Dorm Life I can't tell. Because I am not in a Dorm. I am traveling all the way to the university.
Academic Rigor The teaching is cool. And the teachers are very comprehensive about our problems. You need to study well so you could go on.
Tips for prospective students Feel calm and enjoy the place. First learn and know the places around and find were are your first classes. Do not worried if you don't have a computer because there are lots that you could use.
In three sentences Turabo is one of my favorite university. Has a great atmosphere and great places to hang out. In here you can focus on studying and improving yourself.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students The students in the University of Turabo are hispanic, but there are also people who come from around the world to study there. It is an institution enriched by culture and filled with students who desire the best education at a reasonable price.
Tips for prospective students The ambience is wonderful, very homey. It is easy to maintain your grades if you study hard and party in moderation. Even though the education here may be viewed by some as elemental, the language (if your not familiar with spanish) can complicate the learning process. All in all, this is a very respectable, educational facility with modern technology.
Bang for the buck The price range for each semester is aproximately $3,000. Though cost may vary due to the chosen profession and the years you decide to study. The tuition of this facility is cheaper than that of the U.S. The students that attend this university also have the benefit of studying during the summertime so they can finish college quicker.
Am enjoying being here The university is very quiet, yet exciting at the same time. There is always something to do so you will not get bored easily.
Am learning a lot The professors are excellent and they take time to explain certain areas you might need to improve on. It is rare to recieve a complaint about a certain professor. The good news is if you do not get along with said professor you can either work on your relationship with that teacher or change classes during the established time limit (1 week).

Categories Comments Great for these types of students It's actually great for all types of students.
Food and Dining It's literally surrounded by food places!! Also it has two cafeterias with great food and a starbucks-like cafe.
Academic Rigor There's always a lot of work to do, they keep you busy and moving in the field.
In three sentences It's a great campus with everything a student may need. The programs are great and the variety of majors is huge.

Great for these types of students Great for athletes, engineering students and science students. Great gymnasium and well equipped engineering and science laboratories. There are several associations for engineers. This is also is one of the few universities in PR with a Bachelor degree in sing language interpreter.
What to do for fun There is access to the internet, extracurricular and various comfortable spaces for reading.
Food and Dining This university doesn't have meal plans, just small places to buy food.
Dorm Life Universidad del Turabo doesn't have on-campus dorms.
Academic Rigor The professors challenge you to do better than you did before and prompt you to do things that would help you become a professional.
Tips for prospective students Always take notes in class, attendance is priority and enrolling in internships, scholarships and student associations is an essential part of the learning process.
In three sentences This university has an excellent scholarships and internships chancellor program. The faculty is always ready and willing to help the students. The university library contains all the necessary tools to accomplish all homework and projects.

Categories Comments Campus Safety There a lot of cameras EVERYWHERE and security staff. Don't about your security, everything is being watch.
Clubs and Activities There are good clubs, but I think they could to better.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Well there is a big water fountain, and I heard that senior students push new ones inside the water fountain. Also, they make the new students in public.
What to do for fun Go to the movies, to the beach, do climbing, bowling and stuff related. Also you can hang out, the drinks are not expensive.
Food and Dining The food around is excellent, there a lot of restaurants and local cafeterias. The best of the Caribbean food.
Dorm Life There are no dorms inside the College, but there a lot of pubs and touristic places near.
Academic Rigor Everything is easy if you study. There are a lot of homework, but most of them are easy to complete. Professors are flexible because they take on consideration your learning pace.
Tips for prospective students Do most of the quizzes and assignments, most of them are bonus points. Assist to class always, the classes are easy, but the professors give bonus points if you assist or do special homework.
In three sentences A peaceful environment you will be able to find. Good teachers who are patient and are available most of the time to help you. Helpful administrative members that always look the best for you. Also the university counts with sport teams.
