There are two malls close to campus that have coffee shops, movie theaters, restaurants, and even a Dave & Busters. There are also clubs downtown that cater to singers, comics, and slam poets.

There are so many opportunities to have fun on campus. Each residential quad has a lot of green space for students to hang out in during the warmer weather. Collin Circle is a great place for people to be to eat, mingle, or play sports or music. Danes After Dark is a program available weekend nights that allows students to relax from a long school week, with a DJ and music, pool and ping-pong tables, and even sometimes masseuses. Many guest speakers come to Albany and students have the opportunities of seeing them speak in the auditoriums, or watching our fellow students perform plays and works of music.

You can go to many parties down town. There is also a mall which is 3 minutes away with lots of cool stores, restaurants and yogurt places. They also have a nice movie theater.
