Akron offers many different dining plans. A student can use swipes or have a budget every week. They have plenty of places and restaurants to eat at that accept the zip card dining plans.

A lot of variety and generally good food. Zee's is a handy convenience store with affordable coffee. There are three Starbucks locations on campus, if that's your thing. Einstein Bros., Subway, Ohio Burger, and Auntie Anne's are all good chains on campus. Campus food is pretty good, though I don't eat in the dining halls a lot.

Akron has a pretty decent variety of places to eat and choices of what to eat. Akron has really taken into consideration other cultures and has a variety of foods to choose from. Although if you try to eat at lunch time on a weekday, be prepared for long lines.

The dining halls are pretty good if you mix it up a bit, but the Gold Plan is great (McDonald's and Taco Bell!)

The food is like most colleges...bland and not very good quality. The market is probably the shining place on campus located in the student union. There can be good days though!

We have a wonderful selection of food at the University of Akron! Any kind of food you could possibly desire, we have: Subway, Auntie Anne's, Starbucks, McDonald's, and Ohio Burger, just to name a few. We have the Market in the Student Union that also has a variety of dishes, along with Rob's, a buffet of endless options!

Akron offers many different types of sororities and fraternities. I personally don't hold a lot of knowledge on the Greek Life but I heard a lot of people love joining. There is bound to be a group at Akron that fits almost any time of person and personality.

It's very expensive to be a part of this. Also, it has seemed to turn into a game of drinking till you drop instead of the traditional greek values.

From being apart of the Greek community, I can attest that joining a sorority has been the best decision of my collegiate career. I have made so many new friends, been exposed to new opportunities, and feel like I have found the perfect place where I belong. There's a home for everyone in the Greek Life at UA!
