The learning experience is amazing. The professors know what they are teaching and enjoy teaching it. Some of them are born and raised in Alaska so they can help you out. The other students are a big help as well.

UAA is a relatively nice university given its low tuition. It is the largest university in Alaska based on its student population and is located in the largest city in Alaska. Personally, I wouldn't go here if I was paying out-of-state tuition.

UAA is an inexpensive college for in-state students. There isn't much by way of social opportunities. It has been hard to make friends.

This school is a commuter college turned full on college. The school is in a beautiful city. The small class size makes learning easier.

UAA has great instructors overall. Sadly, communication between administration is not great, but it is being worked on. It is a great school to attend if you are a resident of Alaska.

Beautiful Campus. Great Location in the city close to shopping and my wifes family. Love the Idea of finally seeking college after 10 year service in the military.

UAA is diverse and open to all. While being in the biggest city in Alaska, you still get that small town college experience. Tuition is affordable, and classes are often small, leaving more individual time for students and their professors.
