    As a resident of AK, there are scholarships you can get for doing well in high school that pay for about half of every semester for four years. So overall it is extremely cheap compared to going to school out of state.

    UAA is affordable for in-state residents to the point where if you have enough scholarship money you could potentially have extra left over, depending on what your housing options are like. Like I've said before, the classes and professors are okay for the most part, but then you get what you pay for.

    UAA is fairly cheap. What you get out of it is largely up to you. When you participate and get involved, you generally get more than what you pay for out of this school through your experiences.
