Like the fact that the school offers classes on the state culture. Animal wildlife is free to roam the area, and you must watch them. Everyone has been helpful in my quest to attend there.

Come to Alaska, become a resident, and the prices are pretty great. Depending on your major, there are some small classes, allowing you the opportunity to really get to know your fellow classmates.

UAF is probably one of the cheapest universities in the states right now. That being said I'd say it's also one of the best. There really is nothing more I could ask for, for what I'm paying yearly. They take care of you up here.

this campus has an advantage of being small because it means less students in class so that the teacher will have more time to get to know each student and have more time for on one with their students. and that is nice for students who are shy and usually dont ask question until after class like myself. this may have not been my first choice for college. but i sure am glad that i am attending this school now.
