    Get involved! If all you do at college is sit around in the dorm you will have a very sad college life! Get out and do something, make something of yourself! If a group you are interested in isn't offered make one!

    The University of Arkansas Ft. Smith provides many great resources, from free tutoring to activities to further student's involvement on campus. Prospective students should be prepared to exercise great time-management skills in order to have the right balance of a good academic standing and having fun in college.

    If you enjoy a very small intimate college U of A- FS is for you. If you decide to get involved there are programs but not too many to be overwhelmed. It is easy to know many of the people and professors on a friendly basis. You are expected to do a lot in the classes but professors will try and help as much as they can.
