There are plenty of food places around campus within walking distance. Some take campus cash that can be purchased at the school or converted from the bookstore credit.

There isn't a food plan at UB, but you can sign one up with MICA if you really want, though if living near campus there are plenty of food places to try. Also, in the Varsity you will have your own kitchen.

The best part of UB's social aspect is also a pro and a con. There are tons of food diners surrounding the university. The con is that these food diners take your money. It's hard to save surrounded by such delicious eateries. I recommend you stay away from eating out every day unless you have the money. It will leave a large hole in your pocket.

The food around the campus is domestic and exotic in the way that the cuisine ventures out to all customers. If you want a little of Italy or Greece, or even Asian, Midtown has it all here!

There is no greek life at UB but student government and staff understand the importance it is to their students. There has been many forums and discussions about hosting chapters on campus. We just hope that the best choices are made for the students and the university.
