If you are low on cash, see if you are eligible for work study. I am a current work study student and I work in the admissions office. It is a great and stress free environment. People here are extremely friendly and are always there to help you out. Plus, working here allows you to be close to the people who run the school. In the admissions office are the transcript evaluators, so if you have a problem with your transcript you can come here. Also, there are transfer and freshmen counselors and financial aid office is here too. I personally take advantage and seek help from the people within this office.

The University of Baltimore is fairly cheap for the tuition and fees. The tuition includes things that most universities don't offer. Take advantage of the writing center which helps edit your paper or take advantage of the free tutors who are more than willing to meet with you. UB also has a great library for students to engage in books, eBooks or DVDs. I would only suggest a meal plan in the fees.

This university is affordable and does not have a high tuition like many other universities. Students are also able to apply for financial aid and different scholarships. Students are also awarded for good grades and involvement.
