The professors at UC Irvine really care about you. Although the lectures are quite large, professors always take plenty of their time for office hours and you can even schedule appointments with them if those hours don't fit your schedule. The class readings are relevant and although they are often long, you learn so much from each one!

    UCI is a very amazing institution that any student can benefit from. Most of the faculty is very knowledgeable and all of them have to do some type of research. In addition to learning in the classroom, the research helps gain a better understanding of subject matters, and students can apply what they learn.

    UC Irvine is a great place to meet new friends with similar intellectual capabilities. The classes are interesting yet very intense. One has to work hard to get an A in their classes.

    I think UCI is a good school. It is in a great city, has a beautiful campus, and great science program. The only issue is the majority of Asians here.

    One of the newer UC's, UCI is not only well tidied and aesthetic, but also it's growing in popularity, and offers a wide range of majors and classes alongside many clubs and events in which you can meet/bond with amazing people. Moreover, it's situated in the city of Irvine, with lots of beautiful and diverse places (like nearby beaches) and people, and the city is known to have one of the lowest crime rates in California. However, be aware that it is one of the more studious schools with people commuting home over the weekends, so if you are seeking more to party, this school is probably not right for you.

    UCI is a beautiful campus as it is built around a park, home of more than 1,000 trees and ducks and bunnies roaming. Campus is very lively during major school hours, around 7 it does start to die down as it is a commuter school. Though I will say it is difficult being around so many Asians as sometimes I feel left out on certain aspects.

    UCI is a great school, full of energy and nice people who are determined to make something of themselves. The school is open and fair to everyone and offers many programs as well as clubs for people to join. The only sad thing is that there is not a major pertaining to animal biology although it has a good science program.
