Around Town

Westwood has some great restaurants, three movie theaters, and UCLA isn't far from some cool concert venues. The bus is your friend and can get you pretty much anywhere you want to go in LA if you have the time.

Join student organizations. Go to games! Watch the many musical and dance performances students put on. Go and hang out in Westwood! There are lots of things to do.

I love to go out into Westwood Village and walk around the shops and go eat at nice restaurants. Also, I am in clubs that are fun, like BruinHope which helps orphan kids. Santa Monica is only 20 mins away, so a simple bus ride and I am there!

You can walk to Westwood to get food, go shopping, or go to a movie. There are almost always sports events going on on campus that you can attend and cheer on the Bruins. The bus is very cheap, so you can go to Santa Monica and go to the 3rd Street Promenade or to the beach. There are many things to do.

There's lots to do for fun, you can visit the Getty Museum, LACMA, beaches, Rodeo Drive, and Hollywood. There's lot of hiking trails in Malibu, Santa Monica, and Runyon Canyon. Koreatown is a great place to go for karaokee and great KBBQ. There are lots of concert venues as well.

Clubs are constantly holding events on campus or at the dorms. They're usually free for students and are a great way to spend a (cheap) evening with friends.

There is tons to do around UCLA need I mention that In-N-out is two blocks away! and you have the awesome city of LA one bus ride away that gives you unlimited insite to a variety of cultures

Go to Westwood, which is literally a 10 minute walk. There you can shop, eat, watch a movie. Even on campus and on The Hill, you will always find an event going on.

Westwood is a nice escape from campus with all the great eateries and shops! Santa Monica, Hollywood, and Culver City are close by, too, so there is never a shortage of fun activities.
