There are over 150 student clubs and organizations on campus UC Merced students can be apart of. The Office of Student Life allows students to be apart of these clubs and organizations because it provides students with leadership skills, time management skills, and motivates the students to do well in classes.

Even though it is a small school, you will enjoy how easy it is to meet new people thanks to it's small setting. Also, the school has lots of activities and clubs to join so you'll never be bored.

I really enjoyed living here. I lived on-campus and it's as they say, if you can live on-campus, definitely make the effort to. It was the craziest year I've ever had in my life. I'll never forget the memories and friends I've made. In regards to the campus, it's really lovely. There's lots of space and things to look at. Merced is a small area and most people find it boring, but I think that having fun is what you make of it, because I obviously had a great time.
