Riverside, the hottest place on earth with the best air conditioning system to stay cool. Where people are fun that people refer to Riverside as UC Ratcher, and what happends at Riverside, stays at Riverside. Most importantly with the cutest mascot ever, Scotty the bear.

UCR is a great school with awesome professor that are willing to help when called upon. There are so many organizations and clubs that offer so many resources, allowing for any type of individual to get involve in something. A huge benefit here at UCR is the opportunity to do research. As a 1st year I was able to get a paid position in a Molecular Cell Research Lab and gain a lot of experience, which in turn is building up my resume. There are so many opportunities on campus, but one just need to take the time to go out and seek them.

There is an immense list of places and people you could go to for help when you don't understand the class. Our concerts have begun to be widely recognized because they are amazing. The welcoming diversity on campus is definitely something you must experience on your own.
