Like Dorm Life, depends on where you live. I live in Revelle, and the food is mediocre. You get the eventual hair in your food or find something that doesnt look appetizing, but hey, its a cafeteria. Just t mention, Revelle will be going through cafeteria renovation, so for the 2013-2014 school year, we will not have a cafeteria.

None of the dining halls at UCSD are buffet style which is probably the only negative of on campus dining. However, many of the dining halls are reasonably priced and the food tastes great. I think it's a plus not having buffet style dining halls in that you don't really get that freshman 20.

UCSD has many excellent dinning facilities that provide a vast variation to students of all eating patterns (Vegetarian, Vegan, etc.). Well stocked and high quality students will not be disappointed with UCSD Dining.

Again, the quality of the dining halls should be equal. Some colleges at UCSD like Eleanor Roosevelt College and John Muir College get a wider variety in terms of food.

Can't say much for UCSD dining for students living in the dorms. Price center does offer decent food (i.e. Panda Express, Subway, and some nicer sit-down restaurants). San Diego does offer wonderful Mexican food! Do try: carne asada fries or Tacos El Gordo if you're into street-style tacos.

UCSD has a very active greek life with many organizations whom provide a sense of unity for many students throughout the nation, partnering (usually) with their local SDSU counterparts the greek life always proves to be an interesting/helpful experience.

Basically all of our clubs are called fraternities here at UC San Diego. There is basically no Greek Life as in the traditional term here.
