Categories Comments Campus Safety Public safety really does a through job at making sure that the campus is safe at all times. No one ever feel unsafe to walk around the at night.
Great for these types of students It is great for students that are looking to work hard, buckle down, and stay focused in order to achieve their goals. This school is challenging academically, but if you are willing to work hard to achieve they are willing to help you.
Bang for the buck The money that I am spending to attend this university is worth every penny for all of the information that I have learned in just this past year.
What to do for fun USF is right in the middle of the city, which means that there is plenty of stuff to do. Most of the things that students do for fun is off campus. Many students go to eighteen and older nightclubs, to twin peaks, Ghiradelli square, fisherman's wharf, pier 39, In-N-Out Burger, tutti fruti, City Lights, and all of the other tourist attractions in the city. If the student decides to stay on campus, which some of them do, the resident advisers are constantly putting on programs for their residents ( as well as residents from other halls) to enjoy. Also in the UC building 1st floor there are many video game units as well as a projector for late movie nights.
Food and Dining The food here is really good for the first couple of weeks, then it just becomes extremely repetitive. Besides salad and fruit there are not that many healthy options to eat. The sandwiches and the pizza/pasta are the students here really enjoy eating. The food is catered, so it is always well cooked. Granted if you are going to eat like this every day, which for on-campus students is inevitable, then there is always Koret gym. By going to this gym you can help maintain your weight so you don't gain the freshman fifteen.
Dorm Life The dorms are excellent. They are not too small, and they are equipped with all of the necessities ( desk, lamp, main light, beds, mattresses, trash can recycling bin, etc.). The resident advisers for the most part are very helpful and they are great role models. Many of them actually end up being friends with their residents by the end of their freshman year. These are the people, along with your friends, that really make your hall a home away from home. Communal bathrooms are nothing to be worried about. The janitorial staff keeps the restrooms and showers very clean and as sanitary as possible. Even though, I still highly recommend shower shoes. I rate dorm life a four because it is truly a very comfortable living arrangement.
Academic Rigor This school, overall, is very challenging. Other majors are more difficult than others. but in the end each major is difficult in its own way. But remember, difficult does not mean impossible. If you got into this school then they believe that you can achieve at their level. This school is difficult, because they are creating masters in their filed and they want all of their graduates to be knowledgeable and succeed in order to better help shape the future.
Tips for prospective students If you are considering this school I would highly suggest that you look for all of the financial aid and scholarships that you can find. Also, be sure to ask for help. Many people have trouble adjusting when they get to college and this can lead to an impact on your grades. Don't be afraid or worried about asking for help, it is the less intelligent people that don't ask questions.
In three sentences At USF there are excellent professors that are always willing to take time out of their schedules to help the students that ask for it. Living on campus if really nice, everything is at your fingertips. The faculty and staff at USF are very thoughtful and they are willing to help you achieve your dreams.

Categories Comments Campus Safety I completely believe that this is one of the safest schools for international students. On the top of all what I know from the Internet news, my friends who ever studied in this school also advised me to learn in University of California, San Francisco. I bet nothing can prove the safety of the school but experience student life and my friends are obvious proofs.
Bang for the buck I think there are 3 following items that should be present in the school's policy. - Firstly, the criteria for admission to international students should be more flexible because of variously intermingling among all different students. - Secondly, every semester, the school need to standardize the quality of each student as soon as they are admitted because this prompts them to be more arduous to their study at once despite the input flexibility. - Don't only focus too much on all files of participants. For exaple, before admitting any student to learn select courses, they must take input tests to one more time assess their real ability. I do hope the school will be flexible to international students in order that more and more students have chances to be admitted.
What to do for fun Extra-curriculum activities always attract students' attention and bring a lot of enjoyment
Food and Dining High-quality and arresting
Dorm Life Unable to be more marvelous.
Academic Rigor Very good.
In three sentences I choose University of California - San Francisco because this school can exploit fully my ability, brings to me a useful study environment, a comfy yet high-quality student life. Furthermore, San Francisco is one of the most highly culturally diverse melting pot in USA.
