Around Town

There are so many things to do for fun at UCSB. On campus events: spoken word, outdoor movies, organization events, music event, etc. Off campus: free yoga, hiking, biking, bars, parties, movies very nearby.

Clubs, parties, hanging out with friends, events on campus and in the dorms. There's lots to do.

Go to the beach, get a tan, read a book in the library, go take a dance class at the rec center, ride your bike with the other thousands of students who do the same... the possibilities seems endless!

Santa Barbara has options to go surfing, hiking in the mountains, and shopping on the State Street. There is also a small town right next to campus that is know for it's party scene. The perfect weather provides endless opportunities for fun!

It helps to study at a university that is located right next to the beach. It is a great place to go to relax. There is also downtown, where you can go shopping or just spend the day taking a relaxing walk.

Downtown! You can take the bus for free to go shopping or if you're 21+ you can go to the bars and clubs.

I like to go surfing, skating, tanning on the beach, or go shopping on State street. You never run out of things to do here and there are so many clubs and so many opportunities to get involved and have fun! Everywhere you look a club is hosting a new thing, or a band is playing in our plaza, or free food samples in the UCen! We are never bored!

Ride bikes anywhere, go to the beach, the lagoon, there are mountains and many nature surroundings, there is so much to do.

Isla vista, surf the dorms, go to the ocean...everything is great!
