- The quarter system allows you to take a wide variety of classes to figure out what you're interested in by experiencing different subjects in a short period of time. - The environment, campus groups, and activities allow you to learn more about yourself and what you can do. - The school offers free tutoring [CLAS] if you're having trouble with your classes. There are even workshops on time management and writing to help you get used to finishing assignments.

    BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL. When I went to visit UCSB, I fell in love with the campus. The environment is great: right on the beach, and EVERYONE rides bikes.

    Incredible campus full of teachers that truly seem to care about your happiness and success. Students are third happiest of all colleges and with the location and activities around school it's easy to see why. The campus feels like home without being a cabin in the woods

    UCSB is a great school on the beach that has a comfortable balance between academics and a social life. While at the university, I have taken classes that were challenging but also interesting with professors who are passionate about what they are teaching.     While this school is known for being a party school, its reputation should not overshadow the fact that this university is a top research institution. Along with being a good academic school, it is also located alongside the beach, making it a great place to study.

    UCSB has an amazingly beautiful campus. The people of Santa Barbara are so kind and the lifestyle seems to be the perfect mix between work and relaxation. I can't wait to decide whether this is going to be my home for the next four years, but I am highly considering it.
