I absolutely love it here, but then, I knew I wanted to be here the first time I stepped foot on campus. For me it was about going to the school that felt right to me, and I definitely knew it when I came here.

The campus is peaceful and in a forest. It feels secluded and safe. I really enjoy the outdoors.

The faculty is great everyone should take the time to get to know their professors. The campus is beautiful full of wonderful creatures and great views. The town may be small but it has a lot of fun places to go like downtown, the bordwalk, and the beach warf.

The quarter system is very fast paced. This school has a friendly environment. The ten college communities are all very different but all community based.

UC Santa Cruz is a prestigious 4-year college in an ideal location. Not only do you have the beach and the small college-town feel, but when you're on campus, you are surrounded by beautiful redwoods and are set back from the bustle of the life in town. The students at UC Santa Cruz seem to always be happy and relaxed; it is a wonderful place to be.

The university is not diverse but it is accepting. The teachers are passionate and interesting in the most part. The environment is great and natural, but not too rural.

UC Santa Cruz is built in a redwood forest which is great if you ever want to go outside and relax in nature. There's always some sort of event going on every week within the 10 colleges that UC Santa Cruz consists of so there is always something to do if you look around the right areas.
