Since I have been at the University of Central Florida I have learned more than I could imagine. The professors truly know what they are teaching and are more than welcomed to give you any additional help if needed. There is no excuse that they cannot be reached because on the first day of class you are given a syllabus with everything that you are going to be learning, the professor’s email, number, and their office hours so you are able to contact them at your convenience.     The environment is energizing. There is always something going on campus. Success depends on you. The professors are there to help along the way but it is important to make the effort yourself.

    I chose UCF because of its great nursing program. It is competitive, but not impossible to get in. The NCLEX passing rate is 99% on the first try and 100% on the second.

    UCF has great school clubs to join, and many opportunities to get involved. They have awesome outdoor adventure trips, as well as their own lake with free paddle board/kayak rentals for students! They also have great advisors, without which I'm not sure how I would've gotten into the Nursing Program.

    The University of Central Florida is a great school to attend! Campus is beautiful, there are many different kinds of activities and clubs for all kinds of students, and classes occur at different times an places to accommodate almost any schedule. Also, be sure to check out the gym- it has hundreds of workout machines, 2 pools, group exercise, and a rock climbing wall!
