But we also have Harry Potter trivia tournaments, a cappella performances, improv comedy--and, of course, you can always venture downtown for even more entertainment possibilities.
» Read MoreWhat fun? It's mostly frat life, which is stunted in and of itself given the academic rigor of the school. Farther from downtown Chicago than anticipated and you never really have time to make the trek into the city.
» Read MoreThe opportunities in and around Chicago are limitless. Polish, Mexican, Chinese, Greek and Italian neighborhoods are vibrant. High-end shopping is robustly available downtown. Hyde Park has a variety of restaurants, coffee shops (many local and one Starbucks), and bookshops to check out. The biggest downside to all this is that with so much work to do for class, you may not have time to visit them all in four years.

Events range from student theatre, study breaks, dance performances, and guest speakers and performances (recent appearances have been Sleigh Bells, Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, and Ludacris), and more. If you are not interested in what campus has to offer, you also have the endless opportunities that the city of Chicago has to offer.
