The rec center is a great place to get in a workout, and the University is located right by Cincinnati, so there's the whole city to explore. Additionally, there is a free shuttle that runs to Newport. I've heard the aquarium there is pretty spiffy.

This is the best part about UC. A small campus atmosphere in a big city. The UC campus is only a block yet, ten minutes from downtown. Students can go to Red's games or even better, UC games in the Bengal's stadium. Concerts, ice skating, movies, ect. You name it and Cincy has it. I cannot wait to meet you! I hope this has convinced you to become part of the beartcat family. GO UC!

There are many university events that you could attend. There is always something going on so don;t be afraid to jump in. You could go see a movie in the theater on campus or just find different activities going on at different residence halls.

Anything and everything. On campus, there are always events you can go to (concerts, gatherings, etc.). On the weekends, there are parties, etc. Cincinnati is a great city so you really do not need to hang around campus. It has everything a big city has, without the big city size.

There are so many things to do on campus. There's a huge section of Greek Life by Clifton Avenue for parties, there are nice common areas in dorms to just hang out with friends, there's a ton of nice restaurants and bars on Calhoun Street, and when UC is playing, the basketball, baseball, and football stadiums are all located on campus!!! This is a huge plus for UC since most schools do not offer this!

The University of Cincinnati has a HUGE advantage since it is in the city. There are many different places to go have fun. For example: - ON CAMPUS: There are many different activities that go on on campus such as movie night at TUC, Spring Carnival and the Spring concert (just to name a few) - CLIFTON: Throughout the last few years, Clifton has really been developing. There are many different restaurants and a few bars that are always full of UC students. The Cincinnati Zoo is also within walking distance of campus. - DOWNTOWN: Downtown Cincinnati has a great amount of restaurants, bars and clubs, not to mention the Cincinnati Bengals stadium, Reds Stadium and US Bank Arena (where the Cyclones hockey team plays and many concerts are held) - NEWPORT: Newport on the Levee is about 5 minutes from campus and sits on the river between Kentucky and Ohio. There are many restaurants and bars, the aquarium, a movie theater and events on the River. Riverbend is also close to here which is where many concerts are held. - MT. ADAMS: Mount Adams is a hill overlooking the city which is full of AMAZING hole-in-the-wall restaurants and bars. Not to mention there is an unbelievable view of the city.

There are hundreds of groups to join on campus that will never leave you bored. I enjoy working out at the rec center frequently and love that it is free to students. Sports games are also a great way to enjoy the campus life.
