» Read MoreThere's loads to do around UC. Whether you're trying to catch a last minute movie at the on-campus movie theater or if you're trying to hit the gym in the campus recreation center, you're never short of options. There's a climbing wall and an olympic swimming pool in the center of campus too. Night life is great too with very short drives to downtown Cincinnati or to Newport on the Levee in Northern Kentucky.
» Read MoreThe Cincinnati area hosts many concerts from Rock to Hip' Hop and there are many sports teams in the area such as the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals. Downtown is just minutes away and Newport on the levee is just across the bridge into Kentucky for fun filled nights!
» Read MoreAt the University of Cincinnati, there is so much to do both on and off campus. On campus, there are an unlimited number of clubs, ranging in interests from Spanish to Yoga to student government! Our recreation center is a hot spot, and includes a track, basketball courts, swimming pools, and a rock wall, along with the typical exercise machines. There are also many other courts and fields on campus for sport-lovers! One of the best things about the campus is that the football stadium is easily accessible to students, and during off seasons, students can goof around on the field or do homework in the stands! In addition, we are Bear Cat Nation and students love to support the sports teams, especially football! There is also a mini-movie theater on campus that plays two movies a few times a week, and is only a few dollars for students! There is also plenty to do off campus, as UC is located in a rather urban area. Right of campus there are a plethora of restaurants, hookah bars, small stores, a music venue, and bars. In addition, students can take the public metro down town (to bars, Reds games, Bengals games, restaurants, and fountain square) or the UC shuttle to New Port on the Levee (to restaurants, bars, and a movie theater). Overall, there is plenty to do on and around campus, any time of the year!
