Apparently, even though the course work does increase in difficulty (like in high school) you actually get more engaged in your courses & want to discover better ways to expand your knowledge. Plus the Learning Center help here is excellent!! Go there if you ever need any help in Math, Science, Language, or Writing-type classes

UCCS is a wonderful school. A perfect match for students who want a small school and with a good community. I have loved it!

Smaller class sizes and a smaller campus are great! You don't have to worry about running across a large campus to make your next class. It is also expanding the amount of dorms, parking and a new medical campus.

UCCS wasn't my first choice for school, but I was surprised. There are a lot of good instructors here, and tons of resources at your disposal. My only complaint is that there isn't enough campus life.

UCCS is great university for medium sized classes and professors who are easy to talk to. The dorms are a great place to make friends and be close to people of like minds. The campus weather is unpredictable and the food at the lodge is mediocre at best but it's worth it in the long run.

While currently the dorm situations they have here aren't the best. It is a lovely area and the majority of the teachers' are terrific. I love it at this school and think many others would too.

The campus is big and full of opportunities, but can lead to students getting lost in the crowd. For being there for only one semester so far I have had three professor issues already, none of which were easily fixed. So far it has not been a good experience, but I am hoping for a better one next semester.

The teachers I have had at UCCS are interested in research and creative works as well as great teachers. If you put forth the effort to communicate with them they really are willing to help. I also love the view from almost any point on the campus.
