“Avery Point is a close knit school. The small classes are wonderful, but the lack of majors is disappointing. Perfect for marine science and maritime studies majors.…”
“A very active and fun campus with very friendly people. The atmosphere is gentle and caring along with competitive students looking to excel in life. It is a great place…”
“The view is absolutely beautiful. People here are friendly and personable. The classes are small and you really get to know your professors.…”
I enjoy going to school here because there is a small number of students that attend. Because the population is small my teachers know my name and it's easier for me to get help if I need it. Everyone on campus is very respectful and the teachers are top of the line. Each teacher has their own unique personality. I have only had one teacher who was flat out rude. Other than that, I have enjoyed the many different personalities. For me, Avery Point is great because I didn't have to leave home, it was a smooth transition from high school, and my boyfriend is two years behind me, so by the time I transfer to the main campus he will graduate high school.
