    I tip I would have liked to have gotten before coming to this University is to be prepared for the commute, and to take all my prerequisites first. Don't expect a lively campus because this is a commuter campus so everyone just comes to class and then leaves.

    Definitely get to know your teachers well, the more people you get to meet and become friends with the easier of a time you will have. Talk to people about their classes and teachers they have had, it really helps in deciding your classes and also preparing yourself for a class you will have to take.
