The Campus Activity Board is one of the best resources that the school has to supply hours of fun for the students every week. Movies, games, carnivals, day-trips, and much more are not unheard of. But nothing beats having an impromptu snowball fight on KU field!

Lots of clubs and intramurals. Downtown Dayton has plenty of options for fun. Campus Activities Board schedules lots of fun things to do on and off campus almost every weekend for a reduced price.

There's over 300 clubs and organizations to join! The first Friday of classes, they all set up booths and try to recruit freshmen into joining! Whether you want to play intramural sports, dance, do marching band, theatre, or rush a fraternity/sorority, UD has almost anything! CAB has all of these really cool events too, like they went on a trip to Cedar Point one Saturday, and they took students to the Catching Fire premiere another time! And if you like the party scene, there's that as well. But be careful. A popular place to go is the RecPlex, it's our fitness center. There's a lap pool, hot tub, rock climbing wall, a track, tons of work out equipment, studios for dance and such, and at least 3 gyms with basketball courts. I believe there's also tennis/racquetball courts. Like I said, there's really anything that anyone could want to do!

The social life is all on campus so you never have to worry about finding a ride to go out. Also it's easy to meet up with various friends since everything goes on in the same general area within 10-15 min walking distance.

Go to Art Street and have some fun listening to live music, drink coffee in the coffee house, walk around our beautiful campus and enjoy the scenery, and even take a trip down Brown St. for some great food and shopping!

There are many events happening on and off the campus at UD. Dayton is not the most influential and cultural town, but they have the Oregon District with many bars and clubs as well as the Dayton Dragons minor league baseball team. The campus has a strip of a few bars, nothing special. Tim's is a hotspot to go to. The Ghetto is always a fun time on the weekends if going out and drinking is your cup of tea. However, if nightlife does not interest you there are dozens of clubs and organizations on campus to get involved in. There are friends out there for everyone at this school.

The Ghetto! Dayton also has a lot of unique opportunities if you get off campus, like Second Street Market, the metro parks and outdoor rec facilities and different classes and events in the Oregon district. On campus, you can check out a rec bike for the day or check out gear from the rec program, go rock climbing on our rock wall, go swimming or sun bathe in the warmer months.
