Create an account now!One of the best things is attending the hockey games at school, especially Colorado College games. Denver is a cool city, and it's always fun to take a day trip to the mountains or go downtown to 16th street. There's not much to do around campus, and at night everybody just goes to the bars.

Additionally, since DU students have free access to all the buses and light rail in Denver, it is easy to find something to do off campus as well, be it shopping, clubbing, or bowling.

» Read MoreNightlife in Denver is plentiful downtown, but that's mainly if you're 21 years old and can get into bars. There are plenty of frat parties every Thursday and Saturday nights, but Friday nights are usually the relaxed ones. However, on Fridays there are usually hockey games, and DU's hockey team is phenomenal! Compared to other schools, DU is not much of a party school, but there are definitely things to do for fun.
