I have learned a lot here at the University of Dubuque, even though I have only been here one semester. The information that you learn over the course of a semester is about the same course load as high school, but it is in a semester. Although you learn this much in a semester, it doesn't feel like you are always bogged down with work.

Good sense of community. Football is important as is track. Partying is very overrated here, but fraternities are the single silver lining.

At the beginning, I was very excited to see what a college class was like and how a college life was like. My first class was only 50 minutes which I thought was going to be easy, but found out I had a lot more coming when I had to read and study books all night. After my first semester I was feeling confident that I hung in there and I'm still going on with my second semester now.

UD is very diverse community with a welcoming feel. Smaller campus but right plave to be if you want or need extra help at times. The school has more of a strong family feel, close knit community.

the university of dubuque is a great place for focusing on your education. i know people there put their time and effort into their education, because it is a dry campus that is worried about the safety of their students. it is also a beautiful campus that has modern buildings and it is currently constructing a performance arts center.
