The city of Athens has unlimited amount of activities to do. From giant parks to great places like the varsity to eat. And of course the sporting events are always a blast

Honestly quickly you'll come to realize just being able to be with your friends all the time is going to spectacular. Whether its a meal together, a few hours at the library, an hour at the gym, or just hanging out in a dorm room; those will be the places where you will make memories (ones that stick forever).

Branch out! When freshmen come, they're most likely going to hang out with the same kind of people they hung with in high school, but UGA student population has so much more to offer! I'm definitely challenging myself to branch out for the rest of my time in Athens!

There is so much to do in Athens! Downtown is always packed and students coat the town. There are hundreds of clubs and organizations to be involved in so there is no fear in finding something to do!

There are so many things to do around UGA and Athens. Sporting events such as the football games and gymnastic competitions are really exciting to watch. Even if you don't like a sport, just being surrounded by your fellow classmates rallying for one purpose is special and exciting. Also, downtown Athens has some awesome places to eat and shop.

The list is endless! Sororities, fraternities, recreational sports, the gym, downtown life, extracurricular clubs, etc. You will never be bored.

There are many options for fun. Some of the party people can go Dowtown to the numerous bars and pubs. little more conservative people can go to Phi Slam parties (dry parties), people who don't have the funds can go to Dawgs After Dark (100% free fun), and nerdier people can play Harry Potter games on the Quad.

You can do anything for fun at UGA. There's a intramural fields for soccer, ultimate, football and more. The campus is close to downtown Athens so there's always something to do.
