I did learn a lot during my first semester here, but I feel that the teaching could be improved. It seems like some of the teachers come to class, teach, and are waiting for it to be over with. The interaction with students are not as strong as it should be. I know this is not high school, but having a teacher that has a bit of an attitude toward their students, does not really help in a learning environment.

I feel the education at the University of Hawaii Maui College is excellent. I enjoy how the instructors help promote learning the content by having us apply what we learn in simulation labs, as well as, field course work (i.e. community health fairs, assisted living facilities).
