Around Town

There is always something going on on the campus. Whether it's a Board of Media Broadcasting sponsored event, a play or musical put on by the performing arts department, or just a simple fund raiser put on by one of the many clubs, you can always find something fun to do.

There is not much of a nightlife in Hilo town. However, the student activities do provide a variety of activities (proms, dances, concerts, etc.) to keep you entertained. There are also many beaches, parks, etc. that you can visit within the area.

Unless you have a vehicle to go to the beach , there is nothing to do for fun in Hilo everything is on the Kona side.but even then there are only beaches.

The campus is close to many things, beach, dining, shopping, etc. There are many adventures to participate in also.

There is not much to do for fun, just going to the beach, going shopping in various places including the mall, and going to the movies. It will only be fun if you have a lot of friends and family here at Hilo.

There isn't really much to do in Hilo or on campus. There's a mall just about 5 minutes away from campus, but it can be rather dead. The student activities committee does plan some sort of activity just about every week to keep students entertained.
