How can anyone not enjoy being in Hawai'i!!! Why did I wait so long to get here? Why would I ever leave?! I feel accepted and I'm having fun in a great setting. I do some serious studying, but I also have time to get to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and to enjoy learning about a unique culture. I have great floor-mates at my dorm from throughout Hawaii and the world. This place really rocks! I hear some negativity from others occasionally about the classes, but it is what you make of it, and if you arrive with a good attitude and an open mind to learning about a new culture and new people, Hawaii, Honolulu metro area, and UH Manoa are great!

There is a great diversity of ethnicity's and people from all around the country here so of course you get all these different personalities that you will/will not like. It's really easy to make friends here since like half the students are not from here and therefore are all in the same boat of wanting to meet new people. Also there are a million places you can go and explore around the island where there is beautiful scenery and make all your friends' back home jealous.

I love being on campus! There is a lot of things to do! Even if I am a political science major you can join many clubs on campus just to see what it feels like to learn different things. If there's a problem you can talk to the student government who will help to solve the issue making campus life more awesome.

Hawaii has been a place that I've wanted to live for the longest time! A chance to attend college there makes it even better. I'd love the chance to attend.
