Go to the city, Clubs and organizations, Tons of intramural sports and activities. Hang out at the Quad and relax with friends. Many many more options to choose from as the campus is right in the heart of Downtown Chicago.

It's a school in a big city, so you basically have all of the restaurants, clubs, museums, parks, beaches, theatres, and interesting neighborhood attractions that are just one short train or bus ride away from the university. As for on-campus stuff... They hold school-sponsored activities all the time that a lot of people seem to think are lame, but they usually have free food and some nice people attend. Find a club you can join or find friends in your major. Definitely find some friends that live on or around campus, even if you don't.

UIC has lots of sport. You can join any of the sports.

When it is nice outside, I am always laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Walking around the city and enjoying the architecture, parks and nature is plenty fun.

Lying within one of the greatest cities in the world, UIC is filled with opportunities to enjoy your free time. With your U-Pass, traveling throughout Chicago is without cost, therefore opening up countless areas to explore. Shopping, eating, or just sight seeing in general are what I tend to do on a daily basis.

What can you not do for fun. You live in Chicago, so you have the whole city open to you as a outlet for social activities.

Go to plays and choir concerts! There are also a ton of greek life and campus organizations as well as shows and events for students. The gym is also a great place to spend some free time, I go there 5 days a week to exercise and the machines are top-notch

UIC is located at the tip of Downtown Chicago, and is also only blocks away from several different vibrant Chicago neighborhoods, all available for student to discover and explore.
