Go to different types of parties and explore the campus.

The social life is very vibrant, with numerous events taking place daily all over campus. With over 40,000 students, it is impossible to avoid meeting new people!

There are many activities to do in the union such as bowling and arcades. There are usually some plays or comedy routines on Friday nights and bands play in the Canopy club. All that and their famous football games.

Sporting events (Go Illini!), hanging out on the quad, swimming/tanning at the outdoor pool, rock climbing, going out to eat at restaurants on Green Street, shopping, intramural sports, etc. At night, the legal age for bars are 19 so many students go to bars or fraternity parties.

There's always activities and events on campus.

There are normal things such as bowling, partying, walking around the campus, playing at the arc, or just chillin' in the dorm with your friends.

I usually meet up with some friends and head over to the Quad, which is where people go in the nice whether.

Go out with friends, attends multiple Registered Student Organizations, and join in on activities at the ARC.

Clubs and organizations offer many fun and exciting projects to take part in. You are sure to find something new to do when boredom strikes.

University of Illinois is considered a party school.
