I've learned things so far in every course I've taken and have met really great professors and instructors. You learn a lot from the people as well. They're from all over the world.

UIUC is a community of not only 30,000 undergrads, but also 10,000 graduate students and the greater Champaign-Urbana area. This contributes to its diversity and rich culture, giving students opportunities in almost any interest they could wish to pursue. Courses are challenging, yet though-provoking, and some of the best interactions are found in the classroom.

Relative to my experience as a transfer student the school does an excellent job at providing assistance and the advisers will do their best to make sure you have an easy transition. The classes are always serious there is no room for slacking here its big change from community college were you are always reminded of the fact that you are in a university. It's campus is nice and well maintained as well so overall it is a nice place to study and good environment.

Large classes with very little opportunity for student participation. Professors offer office hours but rarely attend them themselves. There is no regulation or organization of the students resulting in many distractions.
