The University of Kentucky is an ideal college for students searching for a large college with successful sports teams and a large variety of clubs and organizations. However, unlike many large universities, UK is located in the beautiful town of Lexington which is rich in culture and full of remarkable local attractions. The wide variety of majors and classes make it the perfect option for students with unique interests and passions.

The University of Kentucky is everything I dreamed and more. I have found my place in my major as well as in my sorority. There is a wonderful balance between academics and fun, and campus offers tons of events for you to go meet people and get involved.

University of Kentucky is a prosperous community for many students. I am out of state and I feel like I have lived in Lexington, KY my whole life. Teachers are here to help and students are friendly, I give UK a 10/10.

I love how the school and the community is really school spirited. As a big time lover of sports I can definitely see myself at UK. The only thing I am struggling with is I'm afraid there isn't enough diversity.

The University is large, but they try their best to make it a homey experience. They are stingy with money (like most schools), but work is available. This university is meant for the responsible student, and academically,it is worth the money.

It's a beautiful place. Mostly everything is in walking distance and if not the buses are useful 24/7. The people are really nice and helpful.

I can't wait to live on campus in the new Champions Court 1 dorms. I am so excited to be in the Engineering Program and for the people I will meet. To me UK will be the place where I will love and call home.

For a Kentucky university, UK is quite large. It can be overwhelming here if you are not the type of person to speak up and be heard because there are simply so many people, especially in the entry-level courses. Academically speaking, it is a good school with good programs and many teachers that are willing to work with you, so as long as you can get involved and learn how to stand out a bit, you will be just fine here.
