Overview of University of Kentucky

The campus has its own blend with the history of Kentucky and the modern technology. Everywhere you can see people carrying a varying conversations from dorm chit chats to some molecular undergraduate research. The campus holds many dining places spread out through the campus, sororities and Frat houses blending in the laboratories and mining buildings , libraries for each department and the head of all libraries - the willy T. As a student it's really easy to do a late night preparation for tests in one of the cubicle with your own table and own light. It just makes you feel like you have one private room in one big house full of people just like you. You can ask help to your neighbor who might be studying the same material or may have gone through your stress. Importantly, the sports spirit at UK is undoubtedly outrageous. From a Freshman to a graduate to a bio professor, everyone is equally spirited for UK teams. We take our athletes seriously, and cheer them when they are down or beating our enemy state teams. At UK the sports festive goes on from Football in fall to Basketball in winter to soccer to tennis to swimming, and the cycle keeps cycling with even brighter faces and spirited faculty.

Campus is beautiful and has a very diverse student life.

I love it here. I live in the dorms and have made several new friends on my floor because everyone is so open to get to know each other. I have enjoyed my classes and getting to know the people and teachers. I have had a wonderful time and cannot wait to continue my education here.

I love the University of Kentucky!! It was the best choice for me and the best decision I made. There is so much to do and always someone willing to help when you need it whether it be a professor, a TA, an RA or someone down the hall.
